You can get genital herpes if you touch a cold sore and then immediately touch your genital area. It's called self-reinfection. This isn't very common though.

You can also spread herpes to other parts of the body from touching a herpes sore and then touching some where else on your body. Ocular herpes (herpes of the eye) is usually contracted from touching a cold sore and then rubbing your eyes. You can also get herpes sores on the fingers which is called herpetic whitlow.

This is why it is so important to always wash your hands thoroughly after touching a herpes sore. You wouldn't want to spread it some where else! Take care!

It appears like an ingrown hair, however..... Interestingly sufficient, you'll, certainly, get genital herpes with out ever having sexual touch, in case your mom had genital herpes whilst you had been born. Because you move via your mom's genitals while you're born, it's viable, although not going. But what you will have is ninety nine.ninety nine% prone to be an ingrown hair, from the sounds of it.
