Aids is caused by a virus, and if you don't have the virus, then you can't pass it on to anyone else. If you and your girlfriend are both healthy, then, no problems. Wise of you to ask. As you are both of an age to become parents, buy a package of condoms, as all this kissing can become more in a short time, and neither of you is ready for that to happen. Best wishes

You CAN get aids from kissing if the both of you have a cut, colesore anything that is an open wound in or around your mouth, and if the both of you don't have aids you shouldn't worry about it.

No you cant get aids through kissing, the only way to get aids is from the fluids of another person or through the blood and rarely people are born with it. For example if you had aids and you had sexual intercourse with your girlfriend unprotected you could give it to her, or if she used a needle to give herself medicine (which will make her bleed) and she had aids and you used the needle after her you could get it. Either you or your girlfriend has to have aids and it can only be transmitted through those 2 ways, through blood or someone's bodily fluids.

No, that's impossible. I once heard that 40 buckets worth of saliva must be exchanged in order for a person to obtain AIDS from kissing. That's because as soon as the AIDS virus touches the air, it dies.

Yes, if the person you are kissing has active HIV (the virus that causes AIDS) then their saliva could transfer that virus to you, if you have an open wound. This doesn't only mean your mouth. Any type of bodily fluids on any open wound.

For one thing one of you has to have AIDS. Secondly even if you do it is very rare unless both of you have an open sore on your lips and/or mouth. Where kissing is concerned there has to be an exchange of blood or unprtected sexual intercourse with an infected person.

What the heck are you guys getting your information from? You can spread HIV/AIDS through any form of bodily liquids like blood, semen, etc. but NOT SALIVA.
The ONLY way you can spread AIDS through mouth-to-mouth contact is if you two treat your teeth horribly to the point where they bleed and get cut often/easily.
In fact, saliva has shown to PREVENT or SLOW HIV infection.

Beliefs like the one seen here, make it easy to understand why diseases are spread so easily. There doesn't have to be ANY open wound or needle.AIDS is transfered if at least one of the people is a carrier of it,through bodily fluid.Including saliva.Any bodily fluid. Saliva, blood or otherwise. One of the people has to already have it to be a carrier of it.

There's less than .00000001 of a chance... AIDS is caused by a virus and viruses can only infect through blood (blood to blood through open wounds or through faulty blood transfusion) or through sexual fluid exchange (during intercourse).
