ah! i bought it from my tiny local health food store. the prices aren't too bad for the size of it. i was downstate yesterday and it was $3.59 there, i think. that store didn't have much competition either. D:

I've used the Rose scented solid soap and it was excellent. They smell really strong, but they're a bit expensive ($2-ish) so I usually buy cheaper vegan soaps and save Dr. Bronner for every once in a while.
Edit: They were $2 and something when I bought them a while back, but I think they went up in price afterwards when all the other groceries did. :( Also, the price greatly depends on the store you buy from. I have to comparison shop around a lot lately because the prices are spiking so much.

All-one-God-faith! (Minty fresh!)
Bottles are wicked entertaining to read - got the castille soap from a catalog for my grandmother without knowing anything about Dr. Bonner (because she likes castille soap) - well it was quite a trip reading the label out loud (dramatic reading was a plus) - I think there were like 6 of us with tears in our eyes from laughing!
The bottle I got was 10" high and filled (!!) with the tiniest font with the strangest stuff on it - here's one out of a hundred examples: "Each day, like a bird, perfect theyself first, to have courage and smile my friend! Think and act 10 years ahead! And the man without fault? He's dead! Do one thing at a time! Work hard! Get done! Then teach friend and enemy "How to Work and how to Love" for God is Love, uniting All-One above in Got's Eternal All-One-God-Earth!"
Do the bar-soaps come with advice too?

I love it. The eucalyptus is especially useful for bathing my puppy dogs. It helps keep the fleas and ticks away. A little dab'll do ya when you use the liquid so the price actually isn't bad.

I think that they are immoral. You should make your own soap in your juicer.
