I'm sometimes light headed, short of breath, and dizzy. I am breastfeeding my baby (13 weeks post pardum). I have gone into the doctor for these symptoms before (minus the high heart beat rate), and the doctor can't find anyting wrong with me except for some fluid in my ears (causing my equilibrium to be off). I'm going to the doctor again on Wednesday to check out my heart rate, etc. Do you have any ideas that I can suggest to my doctor to look for?

Thanks!

Well, I didn't actually "go into the doctor!" Instead, I went to the doctor's office...

There are a number of things that can raise your resting heart rate. Being out of shape is one. But it can also be due to high thyroid levels, caffeine or sugar in your diet, stress. If you aren't having any other symptoms, I wouldn't worry to much about it. If you've notice weight loss, being warm all the time, trouble sleeping, etc, then I would go see a doctor. And get a BP measurement, too.

your heart rate is normal
your dizziness etc, makes me wonder if you are drinking enough water? Especially if you are nursing, you need at least three liters of water every single day, if you aren't drinking that much, you are dehydrating yourself and that can most certainly cause your symptoms. Have the doctor check you for signs of dehydration

Are u under stress or have anxiety. That can cause it to. You do have a newborn. Your heart rate is normal. Also since u have fluid in your ears that can cause lightheaded and dizziness as well as anxiety and stress. It sounds like nothing to much to worry about. Maybe u are under a little stress or anxiety
