The Bocca ones are pretty decent. I usually buy those....BUT I've also come to like the MorningStar Farms burger with the vegetable chunks in it. I forget what it's actually called, but it's great.
I personally cannot stand the GardenBurger type. Those taste like cardboard to me.
Like the others said, though...you might have to buy a lot of different ones and decide for yourself. They all taste different and they all have their strengths and weaknesses.
Good luck!

I love Dr. Praeger's frozen burgers (you can get them at Whole Foods, and at Cosco, and other places too I'm sure). They are really good, I like them much better than Boca or Morningtar. From their website: "There are no fillers or egg products, just a fresh vegetable taste in a burger “where you recognize all the ingredients.” The California, Bombay, TexMex & Italian Veggie Burgers are certified Vegan." http://www.drpraegers.com/products/category.aspx?SID=1&Category_ID=9.
Or, you can try making your own from "scrath" sort-of. here's my recipe:
1 package of "Gimme Lean!" brand ground beef substitute
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 tablespoon vegetarian worcestershire sauce (such as Annie's Naturals Organic worcestershire Sauce)
1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon A1 Sauce
1 teaspoon liquid smoke
1 tablespoon vegetable oil (to brush on patties to prevent sticking)
sandwich buns
1 package of Gimme Lean! ground beef substitute will make 2 large burgers. So, if you're only cooking for one person, cut the recipe in half.
Optional items: sliced cheese, sautéed mushrooms (just clean, slice and sauté fresh mushrooms in a little olive oil over medium high heat), lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup, mustard, pickles.
In a large bowl, combine the "raw" GimmeLean! beef substitute with garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Mix together with your hands until the seasoning is evenly distributed. Add worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, A1 sauce, and liquid smoke. Mix with your hands until the liquid seasoning is well distributed and absorbed. Divide the mixture in half and make 2 patties.
Brush both sides of each patty with the vegetable oil to prevent it from sticking to the grill (or you can cook the patties in a skillet). Grill each patty for about 3 minutes per side.
Serve on toasted buns. Enjoy!

actually I recently made tofu burger and it was good.
just buy the firmest tofu from you local grocery store at the refrigerated asian section. just make it as you would with regular beef. but when you take out the tofe wrap it around in many paper towl and put a heavy wieght on it like a plate for about 45 min to let all the moistue come out. if you need to know more e-mail me. but it's really good. tofu just picks up any flavor you add to it.

I prefer Amy's Texas Burgers.
But Gardenburgers Flame Grilled aren't bad either.
And since everything is mixed together and spiced up, and you add ketchup, mustard, etc., to a burger, you probably won't notice the mushrooms.

I have tried a lot of veggie burgers and my two favorites are Boca Burgers and Morningstar Prime Grillers. They are the best topped with cheese on a bun with ketchup, mustard and pickles.

My favorite are morningstar farms tomato basil flavored. Garden burger has a really good one too but I personally think boca is disgusting but they make good ground beef crumbles and fake chicken patties.

We love Boca. But you can make your own too and those are the best!
You might also try other Boca stuff - we love their BBQ, their Chickn patties, etc. that are all vegetarian and very tasty.
