Hi,
I have read the answers here before trying to answer and some are good and i am sure all have good intentions. My thought is this . . . Fasting should be below 130 so yours seems a little high but did not go up much after you ate. Find a doctor who know diabetes. They don't all know much about diabetes and you can get weird answers not only here but from doctors. I had one doctor told me the 351 fasting should not be a problem. What a nut. Diabetes is a serious condition but not the end of the world. Get checked out and follow instruction and live well. I have for years and the HBA1c has never been above 5.2 and one time was 4.9 so I am following the rules. It is not the end of the world but get checked be a doctor who knows diabetes. Please for your own health and peace of mind.

When people ask me to do a blood sugar test on them with my blood glucose meterI aways hesitate because I am not a doctor and can't tell what would cause above normal readings. How do you define fasting? What did you eat, how much? Have you been very active? Where are you in your cycle? These thing as well as may others affect you blood sugar readings. While I would say that a 149 fasting is above normal a 151 after a meal is near normal(depending on the meal). You really can't say unless you do a supervised fasting blood test for a doctor.
Catching diabetes early can prevent a lot of future problems so it is worth it to see a doctor.

Those are symptoms, (tired and thirsty) and the glucose levels are generally high.
I would recommend seeing a physician and doing a monitoring plan of your blood sugar levels.
I was in the same boat and went to a physician. The doctor recommended I check my level 2 hours before and 2 hours after eating breakfast, lunch, dinner and also when I went to bed for a month. Record the numbers in a spreadsheet (I also recorded the grams of sugar and what I ate) and then take them back to the doctor.
Turns out I didn't have it (no readings above 100 and typically hovered around 80).
It seems to me similar monitoring would be in order, but see a doctor and they will provide proper guidance

It depends on what else you've eaten that day and how much you've eaten. You also might want to take it first thing in the morning before breakfast, after fasting for more than 8 hrs.
But really, I would get a professional A1C blood test or glucose test done to be sure, that would be the only true way of knowing.

You could have but why guesstimate? Go to a doctor, have a simple test done and find out for sure. It isn't a death sentence you know. Lots of people live very long lives with diabetes. Go now and get on the road to health even with diabetes.

yes you do i am sure over 100 is diabetic. some doctors will tell you that is borderline but then that isn't good its already started ruining your organs at that low anyhow. so get on drugs or shots and get moving. its good and it will make you feel alot obetter.

Fasting number is high.
Be careful of eating sugar, especially soda, candy & cookies.
Meat, nuts, eggs & cheese have little sugar but a lot of fat.
