You can, but it's EXTREMELY rare!

This is only true for newborns, which is rare, but it is fatal in 25% of all such cases. It can also possibly kill an adult if it infects the brain causing encephalitis, or infects the meninges causing meningitis.

I got clinically diagnosed with the herpes simplex virus (type 2) about six years ago, when I was still attending college and had a stupid one-night stand. I just made a massive mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with someone that has sores around her you-know-what? But since a friend shared this video everything changed https://tr.im/HerpesCures2o151nry

Not only was I able to clear away all traces of the hsv from my body in less than 21 days, but I was also able to begin dating once more. I even met the man of my dreams. This method provided me the opportunity to be happy and experience real love. Now I want to enable you too by sharing this with the whole World.

Technically the answer is yes. It is very rare and there is almost always another compounding factors involved. Almost all people with herpes, and I assume you mean genital, will have no life threatening problems.

However, herpes can go into your brain and cause viral meningitis. This can kill someone. Usually people will have another disease that causes a decreased immune function (like AIDS for example) and the virus is able to spread.

So, while very very rare, it can kill. But don't worry about it.

Yes, but it is incredibly rare, nearly impossible.

Only in very, very, VERY few cases can herpes became a serious/ life threatening condition. It is extremely rare, but can lead to an unlikely form of viral meningitis in a person with a poor immune system. That can in turn possibly lead to death, but the chances are almost non-existent.

Also, during vaginal birth, if a woman is having an outbreak, it may possibly spread to the baby and in very rare cases, kill the baby. Less than 1% of women with herpes pass it on during vaginal delivery and less than 5% of those babies will die- so we're talking less than 5 out of 10,000 vaginal births to women with herpes.

No, but if the virus gets in your eye you can be blinded. If you are a female and give birth while having an outbreak, it can harm the baby. If you have it, you should contact your doctor and get all the information you can so you can minimize its impact and keep yourself from spreading it to others (or elsewhere on yourself). Antivirals work wonders these days. If you're afraid of getting it, all the more reason to learn all about it so you can keep from picking it up.
