YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is when it is best for my style of camping.
I am a river pirate! I love to go to the banks of a spring feed river and lounge all day. The air is even cooler at most spring fed rivers, and if you break a sweat, you just swim for a half hour or so, and your core temperature will drop enough to keep you cool for a while.
Sandwiches for lunch, and late dinners. Lots of watermelon for snacks. Big breakfasts so the bulk of the cooking is taken care of in the morning. All these things help keep you from having to suffer in the heat of the fire.
The best part is that I have a bunch of kids, and instead of being cooped up and miserable, they are getting lots of exercise, and having fun doing it. Better yet, time out at the river is better than any other punishment I can think of.
Of course I do not have AC at home. I think it is bad for the human race to keep adapting their environment to constant happy. What will everyone do in a blackout if they do not know how to live in God's world? And how much energy do you think our country could save if we gave up AC?

Yea I actually went camping in 100 degree weather at the start of August. It was hot that I slept without a sleeping back and under the stars (plus some leaves and sticks that I created a shelter out of)

The most I've ever seen was 99°F and I felt like I was in a microwave oven so I wouldn't suggest it. I was in the woods and in the shade but it was still miserable. Luckily I was on a lake and all I had to do was walk maybe 50 feet to get into the water which made all the difference in the world. So the answer is, if I had a place to cool off I would, otherwise no.

No. I don't even want to leave my house in 100 degree weather to go get popciles at Wal-Mart.
Let me guess, someone is giving you a hard time about NOT wanting to go camping in this insane heat.
The whole friggin' point of camping is that it is supposed to be FUN! I don't know how sweating your bacon off is supposed to be fun?

If you are camping in a tent dang tooting 100 is a way to hot. If you are in a camper or motorhome NO SWEAT so to speak. I never did care for Boy Scout tent camping but I love the 40 foot motorhome out boondocking with solar

I have endured the extreeme heat before while camping, but I am older now and the heat wears me down a lot so I tend to shy away from being exposed too long to the heat.

My idea of camping is the weekend @ a Holiday Inn so it doesn't matter what the temp is. I hate hot, bugs, snakes etc so I do my camping in style!

On a camping out trip airborne dirt and dust is your greatest enemy. the warmth isn't a topic. merely save the gun clean and dry. yet undergo in suggestions its a gadget no longer a chunk of superb china. With my first gun i grew to become into obsessed with cleansing and warmth and chilly and each little thing. solid weapons are geared up to final. relish your trip and don't hardship!

it is not just the heat, it is also the humidity
I just responded to someone who was talking about their sex organ and I asked if they wanted to know how I could shoot it off at 880 yards (actually meters)
the heat index was 97.8 degrees, it was hot
I live in those conditions in the army, be it in iraq and or here in the states,
I qualified with an m-16/a-4 last thursday, 39 out of 40 hits in 98.1 degree heat index.
it is not just the heat. it is the humidity...in iraq it was 140 degrees and cat 5,
