Are the lenses Auto Focus? Some Canon models do not have the AF built into the body - its in the lenses. If the lenses don't have this feature then they must be manually focused.

If the lenses are AF and its stopped working its time to take it in for repairs.

if your lenses arent canon, there could be a problem. sometimes a canon body will have problems with a non canon lens. clean the contacts carefully and try again..if you have a canon lens to go for, try it too .

next: canon repair and thats a starting price of $180

Does it happen on all of your lenses? If so, it could be the camera's autofocus sensor - it could be dirty or malfunctioning.

Check your camera out to a professional and see what they got to say about it.
