Hi I'm 13 and a little overweight. At high school I have been called fat. I want to find a sensible diet which makes me lose weight healthly but is affordable. I walk around to get to classes and during lunch and recess. but that is really the only exercise I get. When I get home after school I have homework and the same on weekends.

Just so everyone knows. I hardly eat mcdonalds or pizza. I used to eat mcdonalds once or twice a week and now I eat it once or twice a month. I don't like pizza.

13 is a little young to be on a diet... your best bet is EXERCISE. i know it seems like you're busy, but i strongly suggest running. it's a great way to burn calories and keep your metabolism up, and i'm sure you could find at least 30 minutes out of the day to run. and then theres the obvious, STAY AWAY FROM JUNK FOOD. i'm not saying cut back how much you eat, but don't eat mcdonalds and pizza 24/7.

Hey well dieting is a strong word for your age, honestly be comfortable with who you are and you seriously feel your a little overweight just eat more veggies, drink loads of water and take a break every now and then perhaps on weekends to go swimming or even join a netball or hockey team or something at school, but don't over do it, your thirteen and your body is changing, I'm 17 and was overweight when i was 12+ i have now regained a healthy weight and i did it by just going surfing every weekends and drinking water and eating more veggies also eat meat as well as it is a good source of iron and gives you loads of energy, the idea of eating is to not eat till your bloated but to eat till you feel satisfied and not hungry, bloating your self only enlarges your stomach, but whatever you do plz don't be stupid about it......... Just remember when watching the TV don't use the remote get up and change it.......dance to some cool jams in your room just let go and have fun and have a relaxing day where you can just relax on your own, read a book and draw or doing something of interest.... Also remember that no matter what size you are what you look like your human just like everyone else you have a right to be here and be who you want, just keep saying ''I'd rather be hated for who i am than loved for who i am not!'' Eat lots of veggies and health lean meat. Stay away from monosodium gluetemate (Tells you body your not full yet and makes you eat more. Also what they use in mcdonalds food and premade & boxed foods.) Partially hydrogenated oils help clog arteries and is very bad for you health. If you can read the ingredients on the label don't eat it! Try to eat organic if possible. Never starve yourself because when you do get to your goal weight and then start to eat again you pack on even more pounds because your body will try to store for the next time you try to lose weight. Also if you like the way you look then stay that way. Don't pay attention to what others say. I know it's hard in the world today but you can do it! Good luck!

chill as long as comfortable with you, you are always going to look good, those people that call you fat are not just being mean, they are not comfortable with them. it not you.
plus diets can be very harm full it can cause to stomach to expand more by not getting the daily sources and makes you crave even more

lot of fruits and veggies, small amounts of proteins, exercise , if it is only adding a 30 minute walk daily to your routine, no sodas, drink crystal light or iced teas

Just to be on the safe side.... go to you're doctor and ask them to test to see if ur insalen resistinat i am..... it store as fat ..... ask about that.....
