That depends on how big your lawn is, but personally I would pay 5-10 dollars for someone to mowe my lawn even if I can do it myself.

Michael, don't be frustrated. I have 3 sons who have faced this same dilemma. If you are an excelling student perhaps you could start a tutoring service for your peers and younger students. You might find opportunities to help family and friends with chores or light cleanup and get paid to help. Make a few calls to relatives, make personal business cards and pass them out in church, your neighborhood or other community functions. Also some communities hire youth for selling or distributing newspapers or selling donuts.

I don't know man, sounds harsh to me, see, I know you may say your responsable, your your GPA is higher the avr. but truth be told employers aren't looking for that, 13, that should be around 7th, or 8th grade...which they'll assume your GPA is easily earned, 15 is the age in which they'll take you to work with your ratings...ands that with parental permission...so unless you know someone would might let you in, or can lie, which you might be able to do :P don't expect anything better then selling papers or babysittin', which I could have told you otherwise though...:)

you have to check with your local labor laws and probably need to get a work permit. discrimination against hiring due to age is ILLEGAL! try a movie theater, subway, mc donalds, grocery store, babysitter. check with your school or nearest college
