See an MD.
Your pain would be much lower and on the right side. If you pushed in on your lower right abdomen and released it quickly and you had sharp pain I might worry about appendicitis! If it had burst you would have a rigid abdomen, or it is often called a surgical abdomen!
If it is a dull pain and continues see a physician, get a CBC and see how your white count is.
It could be, and probably is nothing, especially if you do not have a rigid abdomen!
So if it gets worse, doesn't go away. see a doc! Better to be safe than sorry!

Appendicitis pain generally starts in the lower right hand hip area and slowly moves to around your belly button.
If you are having nausea and/or vomiting, fever and the runs.
Go and see a Doctor today as that is appendicitis.
Try laying on your back and pressing down on the sore part. Let go and if it only really hurts when you let it go then go to the Er. It's called Rebound Tenderness and is unique only to appendicitis.

if you press down at that spot and it hurts to high heaven then you probably have appendicitis...
appendicitis normally comes with fever, nausea and vomiting too... so those are "plus" points for appendicitis if you have it...
the pain also normally starts at the umbilical area before moving to the right (another "plus" points)
so... i guess you can add up the plus points... and if you think its high enough than go see a dr.
if it's really appendicitis, you don't want to wait till it bursts... that's an emergency... "bursting" can take anything from a couple of days to a week or so...

Because you think you could have appendicitis I would recommend going to the ER. As far as how long it can take to burst it could be a few hours. It depends on how bad the problem is.
Please go to the ER.

It could be a grumbling appendix. I had mine out when I was a teenager. Believe me, if it was about to burst, you would be doubled over in pain (as I was). I was also extremely sick too but my pain was below my belly button rather than above. You should get it checked out with your gp if it persists. Hope you feel better soon.

The soreness could be on the r ight ingredient. authentic low.I went to the well-being midsection as quickly as a mutually as back thinking I had appendicitis. The dr. replaced into pushing on my suitable ingredient and that i could scream everytime he could push down on my r.ingredient. devoid of taking any blood or something he mentioned properly that's not your appendics.I asked him how he would desire to tell it replaced into'nt and he mentioned it may'nt harm whilst he pushed down on it in spite of the shown fact that it may truly harm whilst he took the stress off. So thats the adaptation between appedicitis or a an infection of a few kind.

See your doc, or go to emergy. You will know if it is bad. You will not be able to move.Burst- Sometimes it just goes. IF it is just starting it should begin to get worse quickly. Now go lay down.
