Yes, just last week, when I went to my cousin's husband funeral.

I heard the words : Our "life is so short" so many times, but it bounces, never entered my brain's nerves.

I knew, when my husband died, I said, almost like :
"Well Bill, aren't you lucky, you are free now, you dont have problems anymore" .

Since that time, I thought death is not bad at all. He was not ill, didn't even know he had heart problem. So no "preparation" .

But when I was in the funeral last week, I really felt, how short actually life is and how meaningless all of the huzzles and puzzles are.
Life seems for nothing, I dont know why i felt that way.

It's a good strike for my nerves tho. The "nothingness" , revealed strongly .
Well that's only my feeling, I wonder what the others say, I like to read the anwers. Thanx for yr Q.

easy to say when you can see it from an eternal point of view but when living life it can seem like an age when you are three and a blink whe you are eighty .
but your point is valid indeed , the time is a tiny amount when looking at the big picture . maybe thats why many belive we keep coming back .

No. I keep thinking about how little time I have to accomplish what I want with my life. Do you have any spare time I can have? I have asked lots of couch potatoes, but none of them has ever been generous enough to give me any. Do you see what I mean?

I tried that and actually found that for me "taking it easy" made life harder then actually working hard and keeping busy. Whatever floats your boat I guess.
