Several times on the way to work tonight. You do stop for red signals and stop signs, don't you? Not to mention people who are stopped in the road waiting to turn....

As a rule if I can treat a Stop sign like a Yield sign I do,I slow down as much as you can without actually stopping while looking for traffic, and if it's safe to roll I go. If however my view is in any way obstructed,or there is traffic coming then I will stop. As long as you are not sacrificing safety then I say roll on through, although obviously the police may have a different opinion on the subject, but after over 1.8 million miles driven I have yet to have a cop give me a second look for a failed stop at a Stop sign. But of course it could happen,so if rolling through Stop signs you have to accept you could be ticketed for it.
