i made cupcakes tonight!! it does help if you mix the dried ingrediants and then the wet, then together of course, but if you wonder why it matters i guess the only way i can answer is to say that from personal experience-bake aa batch of cookies...when you do the first batch go down the ingrediants list ....second batch, read the instructions and follow them-theyll usually make you mix the dried the wet .....the second batch will always come out better and i think its because when you combine the ingrediants if you gotta lotta dry and not evenly wet it wont mix as evenly and doesnt come out as well......but if its a boxed cake mix they suggest you blend persay the butter and eggs before the water and mix so you are splashing all over lol enjoy your yummies!!! and Good Luck!!

one tip in mixing cake or cookie factors that I easily have discovered to artwork is to constantly blend the moist factors first (like eggs, water, oil, milk, etc) and then upload the dry (cake blend, flour, etc). i've got under no circumstances heard of any particular path to whisk. i've got replaced guidelines to establish all/an excellent variety of the clumps are long gone and the blend is moistened. i do no longer think of it concerns, or will cut back to rubble the tip product. so whisk the way you prefer!! and characteristic exciting!! :)

Yes it matters, you must mix it anti clockwise 6 times, then chant 'mix mix mix' 5 times, then dance around the bowl naked.

it can. things like adding an acid (such as lemon juice) to a base ( such as baking soda in dry ingredients) can cause curdling.
