David and I worked in the same company for 6 months. He may like me but I am not completely sure. My boss doesnt allow love between her staffs.
Some days ago, I decided to resign due to my low salary. Only the boss knew it.
Last night, I invited David a coffee to tell him about my resign.
before the coffee, He suggested not to let the boss know about our date. In the coffee time, I said "its pity we dont work together anymore". He replied "but is better".
This morning, he came to office when I was not there and told the boss that we had a coffee last night !!!
could you explain why he behave so?
p.s: he knew I resigned only after the coffee.

Absolutely obvious that he wants to pursue a relationship with you. The only thing holding him back were the rules of the office. Now that you no longer are forbidden, he will want to further your relationship.

I don't understand why you're confused. When he thought you were still working there he said don't tell the boss about the coffee - obviously concerned about both of your jobs being on the line should your boss find out. You then told him that you were resigning, therefore it didn't matter that you had coffee, so why then keep it a secret?

Omen. Clue. Hint. However you take it you should be wary of this guys intentions and actions...It is so odd what he did that you might be better off asking him yourself...you seem a little pissed though so maybe you don't want to talk to him. I am a 25 yr old man and I can't fathom his reasoning. I mean he said "don't tell the boss" but then told her himself...seems very back handed. anyways, Good luck with your new job ok! :)

Dear Jessica,
He is an opportunist and to be in good books of boss he went and told her that you had invited him and he went.
I sense a slight inerest on your part in him.
I sugeest you forget him- he is a rat.
You are so nice straight forward and beautiful, you will surely get someone nice and understanding.
Its a matter of time... he will soon appear.
All the best

Does the boss like him too?

Not sure, but you need to add more details...he maybe happy that you two can start dating, or he's 'nerdy' type that he wants the boss to know everything so he won't get fired!

It is quite strange for him to tell the boss. He wanted to show off? Or he wanted the boss to jealous?
Ask him.

to annoy the boss? she cant fire you.

and, if a company doesnt allow you to have coffee with each other, you need to attack and burn the place down in the name of workers everywhere.

why does it matter - you dont' work there... he didn't know and probably thought you quit so you could date him and wanted to investigate .. quit tripping. Be flattered that he thinks enough of you to talk about you to others at work :)
