stage ovarian cancer with cramps, lower back pain, periods that are irregular etc and then goes for an ulstrsound with a full blader and then a radioligist looks at the overies but cannot see the ovaries does that mean that it is blocked by the cancerous tumour either big or small? I was told today by a proffesional that yes most times this happeds with women with cancer, that the tumor is in the way of the overies so they cannot see the overies. I need this clarified. and as many answers as you can give taht would be helpful. Thanks

The only way to tell if you have cancer is with a biopsy of the tumor.

You have asked these identical questions numerous times. Go to a doctor as the answers you need are not here.

I m a radiologist. It is fairly common not see normal ovaries during ultrasound even with full bladder. So if your radiologist cannot find the ovaries, it means nothing. On the other hand, if you have ovarian cancer, it will be easy to detect a mass in the pelvis on our ultrasound. If you are still worried, talk to your doctor and he may refer you for more definitve tests like CT scan or MRI.

It makes us all stop. First of all. Do you trust your doctor? If not get a second opinion.
Second.
Wait, I know you are anxious. Step back take a deep breath. Pray, ask HIM for guidance. he will help you.

I don't think you should be getting answers about that one on yahoo (assuming this is you). You should probably be talking to doctors.
