Yes i think it will work fine. I went over and lived there for 6 months and took mine which i bought in Melbourne and it worked no problem.
The only thing you will need to buy is an adapter for the wall sockets in the US. You can get them everywhere - Kmart, supermarkets, harvey norman, dick smith etc. They aren't too expensive.

Many electronic devices are dual voltage, so they work with 110 volts and 240 volts. This will be written somewhere on the charger. My laptop, my cameras, all the phones have owned and a few other things I forget are all dual voltage. The only thing I have that isn't is a set of walkie talkies I bought in the US.
The plug will be different but converters are readily available.

In the United States the electrical standard is 110 volts / 60 Hz. and I believe that Australia has an electrical standard of 240 volts / 50 Hz, so the answer is no.

interior the Untied States, AT&T is the present and easily service that contains the iPhone series. the fee you spot is barely assured in case you purchase the telephone in replace for a clean 2-3 hundred and sixty 5 days service settlement. different than that, its approximately $500 without the settlement with AT&T. it incredibly is going to artwork with 3 Austrailia. it incredibly is going to artwork the place Telestra is available The iPhone 4 demands a MicroSIM. call them to confirm in the event that they have micro sims yet lower back, the $199 fee is barely with a settlement with AT&T

i recently brought my Australian phone and charger to Canada (same power sockets) and it works fine, you'll need a converter obviously, best to buy it in Australia where there is more demand as it can be very hard and expensive to buy one here
