ppl here illigally are criminals...US law has been violated.
a family of 4 illegals costs taxpayers in excess of $30,000.00 annually in benefits, food stamps, housing, free medical care, etc., etc., put NAU in your browser, or amero or NAFTA highway and you will understand why we are forced to pay for the criminals. Illegals have no "rights" under law but our gonadless politicans give everything plus to them

Legal immigration is wonderful for US..that is how we became the country we were.

And I tend to disagree with some. I personally believe that individuals in a country illegally are entitled to basic HUMAN rights, but constitutional rights and protections are designed for the citizenry of that country. Separate from constitutional rights and protections are laws that make up our legal system. Individuals in a country (no matter if they are in there legally or illegally) are required to follow the laws of the country, town, etc that they live in. Breaking the law should have consequencies and entering a country illegally IS breaking the law. No one has a RIGHT to enter a country that they are not a citizen of.

Well, in this nation the criminals have more rights than the law-abiding. So it only seems natural to give those breaking our laws by being here unlawfully more rights and protections. . .

It seems from the past few weeks of news coverage and newspapers that there has been a surge in protection of illegal immigrants. Check out immigration counters.com and you will see how much of our tax dollars are being spent on them. I say deport them all. Deport now, don't ask questions later. Illegal is illegal. If you were in their country I am quite sure you would be thrown under the jail. Think about it. We have more than enough people here in the US who could use free legal help, free health care, free educaton. We have to learn to take care of our own before we can take care of anyone else!!

Most of them churches are at fault hiding them and the government thinks they shouldn`t raid a church-I`d say why not get them out of the churches too. You`d think they feel guilty defending illegals since it`s a crime. They would even feel more guilty if one went out and molested a little child or murdered someone. Hows that for protection?? And not letting the police report illegals until it`s too late. What kind of crapola is that?? Deport wherever you find them. P.S. Just guessing you mean immigration and illegals as your question.

your first answerer is wrong. illegals do not have rights what so ever. the citizens that protect illegals are either family members or people who are married to them. here is a site you can go to to look up what I'm talking about. http://www.mothersagainstillegalalians.org/
then if you have time take a look see at this one.

If you have not seen it first hand then don't believe it. I believe that the media has a lot to do with how we view the world. It would be better to look around you, directly around you and make up your mind what you really think.

The truth is... there is no universal truth about how any GROUP is treated. Everything is on an individual basis. No two situations are exactly the same.

We do it because it is politically correct and because we don't want to "hurt anyone's feelings" oh except actual citizens of this country. Anybody that is an underdog we have to be pc to, whether it is race, nationality, gender, religion or other. I just feel sorry for straight, white, christian men these days...they have it worse than anybody. They have to pander to the under dog or else they are racists, homophobes, sexist or whatever. It is ridiculous!

We don't.

It's statements like this that just add fuel to the fire -- they mis-state the reality of the situation, and only cause everyone to get more upset and more polarized about issues.

Everyone is entitled to certain constitutional protections. Citizens get a few more in addition to the basic ones.
