If children were bought up seeing breasts on beeches they wouldn't grow up to be prudish. They would have no problem with women breastfeeding in public and not see breasts as something smutty and reserved for page 3 of the sun. I agree with you - they should go topless if they like.

Tell your brother the children would get used to seeing the ladies' bosoms in time, and not even notice after a day or too. Same for the men.
However, it depends on the individual woman - some wouldn't go topless on a beach because they have very pale skin and burn very easily, for example. Personal choice can play an important part.

In Europe I used to go topless on the beach but, it was always on the smaller beaches away from the big family beaches. Also we would be in a group, usually mixed.
It was accepted that you did not want to offend the locals, usually Catholic. It didn't seem to be a problem as long as it was done with discression.
Most of the beaches in Britain are far to public to be able to do this.

its far too chilly in this country to go topless on the beaches.
Both my mother ( now 74 ) and myself ( now 54 ) have gone topless on Spanish beaches.
My boy was only eight, the very first time he was on a beach, his little eyes nearly popped out but quarter of an hour later, you would think he had lived there for ever. I had warned him of the semi-nudity he would see there. He was far more interested in the rock pools, sea and the sand.
He took no darned notice of the bottom cheeks hanging out of bikinis or bare top bits.
kids accept things to a certain degree, if you have a chat before going to the beaches. To this very day, he isnt fazed by anyone who doesnt have any clothes on

It is up to the individual women to decide if they want to go topless and also local laws in force on the beach.

By all means, men have the right why shouldn't women have the same right, Being a nudist I am not alarmed if women are topless. We all were created nude at birth, our creator was pleased with humans being nude. Only mankind has the need for clothing to keep ppl from feeling ashamed of themselves or for ppl to hide whom they really are. Nudity is Freedom in mind, body and soul because while one is nude with others no one can hide their vanity or real selfs behind unnecessary clothing

Your brother is an idiot for this. People let children see killings and violence without caring about the consequence. Yet, show some human anatomy and you think the kids brains will come oozing out of the ears.
Nudity in my opinion should be allowed for both sexes. Much less harmful than the violence of today's world.

Its up to them.Children only think there is something wrong with it ,if they are brought up to think that way.Its only when a thing is hidden ,and made a big deal of ,that it becomes "naughty".In most Spanish resorts I have been to (Roman Catholic country)old and young, thin and fat, go topless --locals and holiday makers. You would have more to explain away to the kids if you kept your clothes on,than if you took them off.
