Yes you can take bottled water and soft drink on ship. I do it all of the time whenever we drive to the port and/or I have the time to get water and soft drinks before boarding. I usually take a six-pack of both on board in my carry-on bag and it will go through the security scanner, just like at the airport.

Then, if you ask your room steward he/she will remove the stuff from the mini-refrig in your cabin so you can keep it cold there.

yes, i bring a six pack of soft drink and a 12 pack of water. I like it in my mini fridge for when I get thrity. I drink a bottle of water before bed while I'm watching tv / reading. i do not want to order and wait an hour for it room service. i bring one back of pepperidge farm cookies and a couple lindt chocolate bars for in room snacks.

i also take a bottle offshore if i am shopping for just an hour or so.

some of the lines are getting cheap and don't want passengers to bring them on.

as of april, i had no trouble. good luck to you.

yes, you can bring bottled pop and water on the ship...every ship gives you free water, but only a few give you free soda...most of them you have to pay...that is a great idea..i do it all of the time...if you dont want to spend a fortune on soda and other drinks that you have to pay for, why not bring your own? It is probably not on the celebrity website because they dont want to encourage you to bring your own stuff, they want you to buy it, so they make money...hope this helps!!! = ]

Yes, you can. Most of the cruise lines sell a "soda card" which gives you unlimited "fountain soda drinks" (only in the bar areas) (not the cans of pop in your room for instance).
You can also choose the type of soda you like to drink, as the cruise line limits what they offer.(usually either coke or pepsi product). Good luck.

The response of the first two answers are wrong!
