It's not painless (unless you're one of the lucky ones who doesn't get cramps.) And it's not really amazing to me. The day I got it I was 13. I rode my bike a really long way. When I came home I wasn't feeling well, and I remember laying on the couch. Then I went to the bathroom , and there was the bright red blood (new blood.) I yelled to my mom. and she helped me with a pad.I felt pale and wiped out for a day and a half. Ever since, I've switched to tampons when I was still a virgin. And a couple times a year I get HORRIBLE CRAMPS for about 2 hours. Midol is best for cramps. It's a pain in the butt that billions of women have to put up with in order to have children. (Which makes it all worth it.) So I guess it IS amazing. :)

Well...it's different for everyone. I got mine at 11 or 12 and had cramps and had no idea what they were or why my body felt that way. It didn't feel good.

But some girls will have periods that don't cause them any pain. Most though, have some minor cramping that is relieved by Midol or Motrin.

It didn't really suck until many years later for me. We all survive from it. You'll be fine.

Painless? That's a farce! Periods suck a lot. When I first got mine, I was disappointed. I would've liked to have put it off for a couple more years.

I had mine at the age of 14. I feel fatigue and giddy and had bad cramps. But i was lucky as it happened at home and my mum was there to assist me. :)
