Not likely ! The usual condition is called Conjuntivitis--
in the old days we called it Pink-eyes

Usually caused by Pollen or dust ,aggravated by heat
and rubbing the eyes. It is contagious , and at the
moment my household helper is missing for 2 days,
having contracted it from her small daughter.

The treatment that I recall is rest , and using Eyedrops
specifically designed for Allergies---I am not a doctor
and if you have access to an Eye doctor and can
afford it by all means seek help from that sources---
I am sure he has the latest medicines and plenty
of patients wwith the same trouble !

In the old days we used to say "It's something that's
going around" ---if it were due to mangoes---I'd
be blind---I eat tons of them
when they are in season
and out if I can find them in the market !

Most of this advise I got from a Medical Book
so I hope it's right. Our eyes are so important
to us , one of the Great Gifts !

I hope you are better soon.

allergies or sinus infection. a decongestant should help with the sore throat as its most likely caused by drainage. a cold could also cause these symptoms. try something like tylenol allergy/sinus caplets. it helps me and claritin and zyrtec do nothing for me.
