exercising is wonderful, keep that up try substituting the white bread for whole wheat drink skim milk vegetables are excellent for you try brown or wheat rice, like the bread, it is better for you drink lots of water throughout the day to keep you hydrated keep the snacking to a minimum, nuts can also be high in fat but are good for you if you eat only a few of them I understand on the weekends, going out and all it is hard to maintain healthy eating choices. Just try staying on a somewhat healthy path and you can always make up for it on monday by working out extra hard. If you attend a gym you might want to consult a trainer or health instructor, they can be very helpful and teach you what is good/bad for you

I lost my weight by not eating rice.

To lose fat you have create just a slight deficit in daily caloric intake - creating a big deficit will only make you lose water weight and muscle and slow down your metabolism which will make you gain back more than lost after you start eating normal (you are not gona eat rice for the rest of you life, are you?)
any diet you cant stick to every day of your life is not a good one and will give you only temporary results.
rice are only carbs but your body also needs fats (lipids), protein, dietary fiber and vitamins and minerals.
body needs 50cal/hour just for basic functioning (like when you are in coma) and thats 1200cal/day for a person under 150lbs.
plus eating only twice a day will also slow down your metabolism - you have to eat 5-6 small meals a day to lose weight - that way your body gets calories when it needs them and doesnt have any extra left to store in fat reserves.

eating normal white rice would not help you loose weight because there's alot of suger in rice. The very important step of losing weight is to exercise at least 1hr a day.

I say rice if very good for you, esp. when it is not stir fried. Asian people eat a lot of rice and they don't really suffer from weight problems. Make sure you eat some form of protein and eat plenty of furits and veggies.
