For five months I have been seeing this guy that my brother does not like. Well over the weekend as I was getting ready to go out with my brother my cell had gone off while I was somewhere else. He saw that it was the guy and pretty much did not want to hang out with me at all. Since then he hasn't said a word. I don't know what to do. And I fear that he will tell my father about the guy. I really need some advice.

try to talk to your brother as soon as you can and try to convince him to give your b/f a chance. and for what reasons he dont like your b/f try to make them better.

I always say- family over friends. Ask your brother why he doesn't like him.. If it is a good enough answer- then you will have to stop seeing your b/f. Also, if you are afraid that your brother will "tell" your Dad, then there apparently is something about this guy that you know deep down isn't up to par with them either. Ditch him. Bad boys aren't all what they seem cracked up to be. I stopped that long ago.. and now found a nice guy. Nice guys are the ones you seek later on in life when you are ready to settle. They treat you like gold and care for you and will do anything for you.. I adore my hubby and my family LOVES him too. Be smart.. do the right thing. :)

Sounds like there is a pretty REAL reason your brother doesn't like this guy. Maybe he is trying to protect you from getting hurt. Why don't you sit down and really talk to him, and ask him why he is so against you being with this man? Communication is always the key with any relationship. Good Luck!

Perhaps he knows this person better than you can can see him. In that he doesn't trust him and he may be acting more in your interests etc.
Perhaps try and give your brother some fun happy joke cards to get his attention.
If you feel he has something to tell your father about he may be well within his rights to do so. They say love and some friendships are blind when it comes to relashonships. Is this person that good for?

talk to bro asap, b/c if he is a good brother & he doesn't like this b/f he prob has a reason for it. one of my friends has this situation w/ his sis and altho he feels he shouldn't say how he feels, i've heard the reasons and he's right the b/f is a jerk. why not ask your bro what it is about your b/f he doesn't like, and then truly think about what he says, maybe your bro sees something you can't see. also, if you're so afraid for your dad to find out about this b/f well, there's another sign maybe you should think about why your with him

Why are you dating someone you have to hide from your family? If you marry this guy, it's not going to work out because you'll have to abandon your family to do it.
Find a new guy that you don't have to hide like there's something seedy or wrong with him.
