it was at work and another girl was in the break room. After she said that- I was looking the other way- the other girl giggled and said shut up to my "relative" so i dont know what she did. I'm thnkin she meant i have nothing to lose as in im a loser or im dumb and no one else will want me anyway..

She is probably just jealous because you have a lot to lose if it doesn't work out. She probably just means that you aren't loosing anything by continuing to date because a lot of men are feel of s#7% and she feels that you won't find anything better. Kind of like a why not get married? question. Don't let her bother you. Be happy and get married.

She was being rude. I just got married this past June and sometimes I also got nasty remarks from people. For whatever reason, insecure people can't simply say "congratulations." They have to add in the insult. Keep your head held high and focus on planning your wedding. In the end, what matters is your marriage and not what these jerks think anyway!

Wow, that was a mean thing to say to your happy news. Is she always like this or was she having a bad day? If it reallllly bothers you, why don't you ask her? If not, just let it go and try not to let her get to you. Maybe she is jealous??
