she says she loves me but always has an excuse as to why she hasn't visited me yet. she has flaked on me 2 times so far and always promises that she will be here with me soon.she has no job or substancial reason to stay in san diego. should i just let her go? i've been with her 3+ years

I think that she is probably doing her own thing in San Diego. I think that maybe you should just let it go. If she wanted to be with you she would make a effort and she isn't doing that.

Where did you move from? Have you been to San Diego in the past 3 months to see her? How did things seem to you? Or, have you 2 not seen each other for 3 months? Too many unanswered questions to be able to give you good advice.
However, if you have gone to see her, and she does not reciprocate, she's moved on. Don't call or text or initiate any communication and see what happens. If she contacts you, that's good; if not you'll have your answer.

I live in Oceanside. San diego to L.A. is no big deal, as far as LA commutes go. My hubby drove from here to the Inland Empire every other day at first, then once a week minimum when we were dating. Tell her to tell you what you want, cuz she shouldn't go on wasting your time. There are so many opertunities for you to have fun out here. Don't waste your time on someone who won't drive 2 hours to see you every once in awhile.

If she has NO job or substantial income to keep her in San Diego, it sounds to me like she's with someone else there!
Make a special trip down to see her, but don't tell her you are coming...Just ride in on your white horse, and whisk her off to dinner or to the Balboa park...
If she gets miffed because you came to see her, than you'll know her feelings are not true...
Then you can walk away knowing she is not the girl for you!
Do it soon before you stress out anymore about this..
Stress is a killer and worse than a broken heart!

Sounds like she's done with the relationship with you but hasn't found the courage to tell you so. I think you should let her go.
