Be there with that person, in hard times and in good times. Be able to look past faults, share happiness and sadness, be able to sacrafice some of your desires at times. Make your love know that he/she is your world make them feel wanted, loved, and respected. Be in sync physicaly, emotionaly, and spiritualy. Be able to argue even fight about somthing and still respect each other. Be able to go through somthing that might be hard or scary and come out stronger, more passionate and more aware of each other.

Why do you have to prove it? If there are trust issues in the relationship then you have bigger problems than you think. They should take your word for it and your actions should speak for you. There shouldnt' be anything extra you have to do.
