Oh YES!!! Fun and interesting at first. She was in control and in charge..... of all aspects of the relationship...... you know what I mean? Exciting to be with someone so... energetic.

But, later, as you say, the gates of hell opened. Where are you going? What are you doing? Call me. Contact me. Me Me Me Me Me. SHUT UP. Impossible to walk out of the room without explaining my intentions.

I better cut myself off before I ramble on for hours.

As a female, let me say that many of us do tend to try to control and dominate the men in our life. However, you men need to understand that and stand firm about retaining some independence in the relationship. A strong male is so powerfully appealing. Don't let us rule you, but do be compromising at times.

Not yet. I've had a few that tried. I've fought my way through some relationships that they almost had me, but I managed to come out on top. Women are just people. They want their due . And I don't blame them. They do more in the relationship then we do. When they start nesting..if you arn't ready..move on. I still like saying "lemme' check with the ol' lady" before I go fishin'

Sounds like you were looking for mommy and got the big bad wolf. Not all women want to take control. It is up to you to choose the woman, and how much control you give them.

Letting a woman take control of your life is a huge red flag if I ever seen one. I want my relationship to be a partnership of equals and if she wants me to be in charge then I'm ok with that. I certainly wouldn't let her be in charge of me because I'm too much of a free spirit.

Like it or not, the women are controlling our lives one way or another. When we are young, our mum tells us what to do. When we grow older and schooling, the teacher (mostly female) will command you. After getting married, you have another one. That is just life, mate.
