I got your back! And I'm an Anglo Saxon American Christian turned atheist
I'm confused at who to blame. Americans, Christians, The Media, or our Government so I apologize to those I've generalized here
I know I'm embarrassed by this countries actions and our president
1.5 billion Muslims in this world (many here in the US)
and America wants to believe that EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM are carrying bombs and hate the USA.
what happen to the Christian believes of "love thy neighbor"
and "turn the other cheek" and all the rest of that jazz?
What about all the MILLIONS of people, the cultures and civiliaztions Christians MURDERD in the past.
I'm now atheist because of the hatred MOST Christians have for what they do not know or understand
what happened to America accepting all those that wish to become an American citizen?
Its one world and we all have to live together, not hate each other because of a SMALL group of fundamentalist
(1000 compared to 1.5 BILLION)
As-Salamu Alaykum

Salam :) I'm a Muslim teenager living in Canada. I wear hijab alhamdullilah and it's for the most part accepted here since i live in a big city with a sizeable Muslim population. I do get the few ignorant comments and idiots at school though who ask stuff like "yo got a bomb under there hahaha". But the hardest part is being different from your friends. Being a Muslim, parties, alcohol dating boys wearing revealing clothing etc is haram, and while I don't want to do that anyway, it can be a little awkward to have to explain why I don't do it to people who consider it just a part of being a teenager and its ordinary to them. Muslims living in Muslim countries definitely have it easier when it comes to fitting in. And with food it can be a little tricky but I always try to read the label if I'm not sure of the ingredients. But I wouldn't wanna be any other religion no matter how difficult it gets and how different I feel from everyone else, I'm glad to be Muslim :)

You are so right.
Arrogance comes into the equation.
Why then don't they speak out against their own goverment and evils perpetrated as state-sponsored terrrorism, whether military or monetary or both. Arrogance is ugly and blinkers the one affected from seeing the evils perpetrated close to their own home and in that respect I don't think there is such a thing as a clean back yard any more in a world moving towards a NWO where all governments are puppets or interconnected via a fascist agenda.

I'm Christian, and I love and respect you as I would my own mother so I don't think there's any reason 4 you to be persecuted for your race or religion however, humans are whats the perfect word... stupid. I'm sure they know that your not a terrorist but people need a reason to make themselves feel better about their own pathetic lives so it's only natural for them to put someone else down to get attention. That's why God said to seperate ourselves from the world bcuz theres only a few ppl n the world that have any sence at all. I live in the getto of philadelphia so I know what it's like to be persecuted for my religion but I get talked about 4 being religiouse anyway not jus 4 my Christianity but I got so many guns that they won't say it to my face but I know what's going on. Amen I say to you, If your not a terrorist, than what's 2 worry about jus b like me and don't take any crap.

Hello fellow child of God! I myself am from Malaysia, a country that is under an Islam government but it still allows Christianity and other religions to be practiced. On top of that I am a Chinese/Malaysian since I was born in Penang, Malaysia. I don't see people being prejudiced against me in Malaysia or here. I mean I was exposed to as much of Islam as you were. My house on was on a church compound on top of a hill. The mosque near by rang with the cry of the person who asks the Muslims to gather for prayer during dawn, noon, mid-afternoon, sunset, and nightfall. I am used to it and my dad, who was the pastor of the church, did not mind at all.
I mean come on! Not all Islams are terrorists! I pray that one day that they may come to know God's salvation and not fight anymore. My family was not prejudiced in Malaysia. In fact all Chinese there were not prejudiced at all. There were many Christians there as well. In fact, my family could have been killed or humiliated yet all was well because of your Islamic brothers in God. Thanks to the government, we were not prejudiced or persecuted. I believe the people who prejudice you should know this. I respect you and I want to be able to stop this unfair discrimination.

I see this all the time as well, and I agree, it's not right. I am not of Middle Eastern descent, and of course I hate the terrorist movement, but it bothers me to see people treating all Middle Eastern people bad. It's just the white man LOOKING for an excuse to treat another race poorly. You aren't alone....it's happened to the blacks and hispanics as well. It shall pass. But yes, it is wrong, and I wish you didn't have to go through with it.

Any decent human being will speak out against terrorism. I am a Christian and I do not treat anyone differently due to their religion. Now I am not going to lie if I am on a plane and a group of muslims get on I might be a bit anxious. You can only blame the nuts in your religion for the fear and hatred you face. I mean people following your religion would love nothing more than to kill anyone who does not. Can you understand why that might make us a bit anxious?

I'm sympathetic to what you say. It is awful being judged unfairly. In fact, wrong judgement is about the worst thing I can think of.
I cannot offer you any solutions, but be aware, not everyone brands you as many others will.

Agreed, tottaly. I mean wtf I did to these people dude. If another Muslim goes and kills someone, why am I put responsible for it. And did you notice their sarcastic posts telling Muslims that killing is wrong.
U assholes, I know that. This is not a terrorist site, bloody idiots - they are. If u wanna give those advice, go and post those advices on some terrorist forums coz extremists don't visit R&S. And don't ask me for the links to those terrorist forums coz I don't have one.
Seriously, if I see these bigots on streets, I will screw their asses out. PEACE!

It's just prejudice. I get it sometimes, too. I'm East Indian, and Hindu, and people mistake me for a Muslim or Middle Eastern. Then I tell them I'm not Muslim or Middle Eastern, and they have nothing against me, and are super super nice to me.
