Forensic experts, private investigators, bail bondsman, even legislators can benefit from a CJ background.
And many CJ grads go on to law school and become either prosecutors or criminal defense attorneys.

Criminal Justice programs arent even good for that. Police departments want the new recruits to learn it their way and not some college professors way. I'm not sure where all the criminal justice programs hype came from, but I would personally get a degree in something else to get into a department, (Most only require 60-120 credit hours and not necessarily a degree) Besides we'll need to do something when our 20 years is up..

Case managers
Security Guard
Detetective
Correctional Officer
