Yet, when they themselves will or do not?
This is not an attack on Islam (my husband is muslim), I'm just curious about the logic behind this observation I have personally made. Thank You.

This is not about being politically correct. When a group of people, categorized either by faith, ethnicity or gender, that has been victim to discrimination, there is no doubt some sensitivity. Thank you.

There is no logic there; the term you're looking for is "hypocrisy." It's rampant among human beings of all faiths, and of no faith at all; just plain old human nature.

Well the issue is between the woman and God... man might have been alluded to as the "protector" of his wife in the Quran but he is certainly NOT the morality police. The role of protector essentially means that ultimately, financial stability is on his shoulders.
My wife dresses up the way she sees fit and I certainly don't run after her with a shuttle in my hand trying to wrap her in it. She is a beautiful person and I'm sure God knows it. I am nobody to play moral police to my best friend.

I think this probably happens in all cultures and religions. How many Christian men insist that their wives "submit" to them, yet they don't submit to the Lord?
I'm not bashing Christianity - I'm a fundie.

Muslims tell their women and they also accept to act upon all verses of Quran and they also accept it. Quran first time gave respect to women right in property and respectable place in family and society as mother, sister, daughter relative or commom muslimah.

It gives Muslim women protection, dignity & honour, the women nor properly dressed like Muslim women can never have. See crimes against women in Hindu, Christian, Jewish, Buddhist & communist localities & countries & the same being totally non esxistent in Arab countries, reported by even the journalists of biggest enemies of Islam too many times.
No respectable mother would like to let her daughter wear only bra & bikini & let her go out of her house for hours or the whole day(without considering her psychological & mental conditions b coz of that) & expect full safety of her & her chastity. It is futile to argue against those people who talk of liberty for premarital sex & girls getting pregnant in the tender age of 12 before marriage. It is the fact that in such crimes girls suffer much more. So, for safetysake, proper dress code must be followed. Basic principle of safety science says: "Safety first, anything else later." Those who don't want safety in all respects are difficult to be convinced. A so called "broadminded" boy of western origin may oppose hijaab, go for sex with so called liberal teenaged girls but at the same time he would not like her sister to be so exploited if at all he has any sense of natural human respect.
Why are now the newspapers of western countries reporting statements of even 17 years old girls that they lost their virginity & girls at the time of marriage are not virgin ? This is true for most of them in overwhelming majority who oppose hijab. When tail of a fox is chopped off, she talks of great (false) advantages of chopping off the tail so nicely that every other fox likes & gets her tail chopped off so the first fox does not remain odd man out. Four years ago the leading & oldest newspaper The Times of India's Mumbai(Bombay) edition reported on p.3 that in that city four out of every six girls & two out of every six boys are sexully exploited IN CHILDHOOD only. What about the exploitation in teenage & adulthood God only knows.
In Quraan, Surah Al Ahzaab ayat(verse) no. 59 talks of women wearing hijaab. Please read translation of Quraan by typing 'Kanzul Iman' in Google search box & click. This is the best translation of Quraan in the world in all leading languages.
Also, read the book : Minhajul Muslim by Al jazairy (688pages)on Islamic way of life in all aspects. U will never disagree on anything even if u r a non-Muslim. In this world of materialism & greed mostly people don't have time to read such very good books they never saw earlier.

This is just one example of the sexist hypocrisy of Islam. For another, type "Rijad Saudi Arabia" into Google, and see the top commercial site that comes up. Saudi Arabia is one of the most strictly conservative of all Muslim countries.
Don't think that the government there doesn't realize that they are doing this:

It's just not an issue. Why? Because it is an escort service to provide female prostitutes to MEN (who may or may not be married, who cares?). If you tried to establish an escort service to provide young sexy men to frustrated housewives there, it would be a bit different.
Islam is a religion by men and for men, like most all of them.

Everyone should follow the Quran, whether it men or women.
If anyone is not following it, then you know it, they are shying away from the truth.

when and if that happens... it's hypocricy. Kind of like when a christian man expects his wife to wear a long skirt and top that covers her to her collar bone, but insists on wearing shorts and growing his hair out...
