My court date passed and still havent payed my speeding ticket. I am a full-time student, and had to get a job so I can pay it off. It has been 2 weeks, and I plan on paying it within these couple days. Will their be a late fee? Or will the amount still be the same?

You need to go to the court house in the morning because if you had court and didn't go then you have a Failure to appear warrant out for your arrest right now.

Well, now there is a warrant for your arrest. You need to contact the agency that issued the ticket and tell them you will be paying the fine shortly. You might even be able to pay part of the fine. Whether or not they will work with you, you need to get it paid as soon as possible. Once you pay the fine, they will recall the warrant. You need to take care of this. Depending on where you live and what agency issued the ticket, they may have also suspended your license.

I just got pulled over on the 17th of August and the officer emphasized that if I did not pay it by the 29th there WOULD be a warrant out for my arrest. Good Luck!! I have a family and a Job.....I am having a hell of a time coming up with that money. GOOD LUCK!!

Next time they stop you & they put the hand cuffs on you & take you to jail, you're going to find out that warrants are equal opurtunity.
