Right now, i think california is a part of europe. Therefore, we use the euro as our currency.

California is a part of the european union. That means i can walk into a grocery store in california and they will accept euros. Do you believe this?

Hmm, I think you're taking the state flag too literally, as it reads, "California Republic". True, many of Hollywood's filmmakers have moved production overseas, but our state hasn't budged. (not counting a few earthquakes)

Not all of Europe uses the Euro, as the UK, Denmark, Sweden, the Vatican, Monaco, and San Marino use their own currency.

By the way, if California is part of Europe, then we're all in for a heck of a commute on Monday.

Of course i don't believe it. How can California be part of a european union? it's in the UNITED states of America and Europe is about half the globe away and there is no point of keeping california for trading or immigration etc. Oviously they use american money (USD) not euros.

we use US dollars in California since it is part of the United States of America. Under federal law the only currency reconized for use in the United States is the US dollar. That doesnt mean other currencies are not used at times but most places will not accept Euros since they will not know the current exchange rate.

Uh good luck trying to use a euro in California, nevermind anywhere else in the United States.

There is a reason that Californians(and everywhere else in the US) use USDs. U=United S=States D=Dollars. There is no exception.
