Some people have worked the midight shift for a lot of years and your body gets used to it. I enjoy the less stressful times, the quietness, and sitting out on my porch, i have stopped 2 burgulars in the last 8 months. So it also helps out my neighbors too.

good luck.

Well my brother likes to because it is when Star Trek is on TV. Personally I think it is because it is the time when you can have the most fun (hopefully without waking too many people) and I do not mean that in a sexual way. Freedom I say has a lot to do with it. As a kid I wanted to stay up late because I thought the grown ups had a party when I went to bed.

I think I have a vampire somewhere in my ancestry :) I really feel better late at night, even if I've been up since early morning and was tired in the afternoon and early evening, I'll wake up and feel fine once it gets late. And on the other hand, I'm always sleepy early mornings no matter how much sleep I've had (unless I haven't gone to bed at all, although then I'll get *really* tired later on in the day). Some of us have different night/day rythms.

-Perhaps because one day isn't enough for them.
-Perhaps they don't really want to stay up late but they just can't do opposite.
-Perhaps they want to avoid next day coming sooner, as it has been mentioned.(but this doesn't really stop time)
-Perhaps there is another reason I don't know...
-Perhaps there is no other reason that I don't know...
-Perhaps I should stop this list
-No, I should really stop this list
-This is getting too much. I should have stopped this list a long time ago.
-It' getting late and I don't want to stay up late at night
-Somebody please stop this
- Oh , alright, I'll stop this my self
-This is the end of the list

P.S: - No it isn't. He,he...

I live in NYC....Middle of the night is the only time you may get some peace and quiet.

I love the night time and work best at these hours.

Some people are just nocturnal. Everyone has different circadian rhythms so it actually has a biological basis.I just came across this website that seems interesting. It describes why we are how we are with our sleep cycles. http://www.hallym.ac.kr/~neuro/kns/tutor/medical/rhy.html

'coz there are just things we would prefer to do late at night in total silence rather than noisy morning, w/o PRIVACY!

I am a "night owl" naturally and always have been. I am much more creative at night.

It's the time when you seem to have ALL the peace and quiet to yourself.....unfortunately, you become too sleepy at this point to really enjoy it!
