What is the body fat range for women? I have a scale with a body fat anylyzer on it. Are these scales really acurate? It says mine is 29% but that seems kind of high for my weight.
Height: 5'3"
Weight: 133
Age: 22

1. They're not all that accurate.
2. Hard to tell sight unseen, but 25-30% seems right for your height and weight.
3. Most people don't realize how much fat they are carrying around unless they've been down to the minimum.

At 5'3", you sound "well-upholstered", and feminine. Likely nice round curves, which are made of mainly ... fat.
Women range about 22% - 28% normal. My wife is 5'5", 150. BF at 35%. And nice looking. I would not guess her BF that high.
Its packs between the internal organs, and over the muscles on the outside.

the body fat analyzers on the scales are not precise- they can be 5% off. ask trainers at the gym or dietitian to measure yours if you want to know it. ( for women its normal to have up to 25% body fat)

anything over 30 % is considered obese as far as my research told me as l have done my own recently, though as long as l dont have to go to the large ladies department l dont worry, we are all different shapes and sizes and some one can have the same weight and height as you and look heaps smaller or bigger
