Hello!
Heating mayonnaise in the microwave will cause it to become transparent and liquidy, not to mention lose its flavor to some extent. It is safe, though, so long as you do not let it sit too long, or it may grow bacteria.
If you try to heat it in the toaster, you will end up with a big mess. If you do decide to cook it, do not use the toaster.
Same goes for the grill (unless in a recipe).
If you try heating mayonnaise alone in the oven, the result you get would be the same as the microwave. However, it is possible to put mayo in recipes where cooking is involved. It is used in many dips, sauces, desserts, and more.

I have used mayo in lots of recipes for the microwave, grill, oven, stovetop, George Forman, etc. I wouldn't try it in a toaster only because it would run onto the coils. If you meant toaster oven, that's fine.
Maybe you are concerned because you're aware you shouldn't leave it out at room temp (or higher) for long. That's true because it will spoil, but that's also true for eggs which you can cook in all the ways above.

Just make sure you eat whatever it's on quickly. Heated Mayo spoils in a big hurry, but it should be fine if you plan to eat soon after.

You can, but you may alter the properties of it.
You will NOT get salmonilla, as the conditions must be much, much slower
