the cat is wanting to watch the red dot eat you.... or maybe it is thinking since they caught it, they will share it.. maybe it just wants to see what would happen if it actualy touched flesh... or maybe it knows if it jumps on you then you and it will get hurt!!!

You have a good kitty. I have to agree with "felines" though; lasers can be dangerous. The cats generally love them, but in my opinion, it is not worth the risk. A kitten at a show got caught across the eyes when a judge was playing with it and it went into convulsions. Many of us started telling the judges not to use the laser lights with our cats. Although some of the judges got a bit huffy about it, it wasn't too long before they went back to feather toys instead of the laser lights. I haven't seen one at a show (in a judging ring) in years. Until they make one that is safe I'll stick to low-tech kitty toys.

At the risk of sounding like a party pooper, please do not point the laser at anything living, human or animal. The laser can burn the eyes and cause blindness.

mine too. I put the laser pointer on the other cat and she wouldnt go after her either

Yeah for someone reason they wont do that...I think it's because they dont want to hurt you or another animal they care about..
I've tried to put it on my other cats to see if she would chase him...but she wouldnt do anything and would just sit there..
But I think it's because they dont want to harm your or their companion...but Im not sure exactly..Im wondering if anyone has a good explanation for this.

He probably knows that he's not supposed to claw you so he only attacks the wall.
