"Alcohol poisoning is a serious - sometimes deadly - result of consuming dangerous amounts of alcohol. When your body absorbs too much alcohol, it can directly impact your central nervous system, slowing your breathing, heart rate and gag reflex. This can lead to choking, coma and even death."
as for mixing drinks- it's probably a bad idea to mix drinks of high proof. (that's why its bad to mix vodka and tequila) ...though you really shouldn't be drinking so much that that actually becomes a problem!

Alcohol poisoning happens when someone drinks a large amount of alcohol in a short period of time. November 15, 2007: Volume 34 #23 For example, alcohol poisoning could be caused by: • binge drinking (having more than five drinks at once) • drinking games • funneling • chugging. If an individual drinks too much too fast, the amount of alcohol in the person’s blood – blood alcohol concentration (BAC) – rises to a high level very quickly. A BAC of 200-300 mg per cent would likely cause alcohol poisoning.

Alcohol poisoning is when you put more alcohol in your system than it can handle. If you drink either too much, or much to quickly your body will not be able to process it all. Essentially that buzz you get is the effects of the poison in it's early stages. But if you take too much your body starts to employ more drastic measures to prevent damage. This leads to vomiting in a desperate bid to purge the system.

Alcohol poisoning is when you pass out, are throwing up, are shaking, are very cold, etc. It is bad. What do you mean which drinks can you, and can't you, mix?

Alcohol poisoning results from your liver being unable to keep up with your intake of booze. Basically it comes from drinking any alcohol (This is how you get drunk) but the stuff you are referring to happens when someone doesn't stop ingesting booze and the liver tells the rest of your body to shut down. Sometimes you die from it.
