Well, soon I will be taking taking the test so I can get my learner's permit. I was just wondering whether anyone knew the format for the test, and the types of questions i should expect. I've been studying a lot, and I'm sure I will pass. Thanks in advance!

As I recall it was a multiple choice format.

If you have studied the drivers handbook then you should be fine. Each state is different, and they have several different tests that they issue, which is an effort to keep people from cheating and looking on othere peoples test sheets. They may not have the same test as you.

They ask about stopping distances, what signs look like, like the stop sign has eight sides, what to do if you have an emergency vehicle behind you with the lights and siren on.

Things like that. Just common sense stuff. You'll have no problem if you have read the book. good luck.
