I just started my speech class today [with my boyfriend], and our first assignment was to get to know eachother by introducing yourself and getting their phone numbers/giving yours. but we only had to get 3 phone numbers. I wasn't going to say anything because it's JUST an assignment [although he'd be getting numbers from really cute girls] Well he said "omg I am going to be getting in trouble for this one huh?" and i said "no, just dont do anything wrong and you wont" he was like "uh what" with an attitude and i was like "better not be askin no girls for their phone numbers" and the whole time i had a smile on my face.. After that he got so pissed and said i was controlling and bossy and was trying to make him do everything i wanted. He made the rest of class crappy pretty much cause he had attitude. Then he walked up to me after getting the phone numbers and said with TUDE "there, are you happy? I only asked the fat ugly girls.. I didnt talk to those girls over there" which. CONT....

he pointed at the couple of pretty girls in the back corner... what the F does this mean? and why did he get such an attitude so bad when I was just joking around?

Something tells me he has a guilty conscience or he wouldn't react with anger to your smiling retort. Two wrongs don't make a right and you both were jesting about a serious issue which is "cheating". Try to learn from this. First, don't joke about something like cheating. Second, when the reaction doesn't fit the "crime", i.e., you being controlling, you've got another issue. Either there's something more too it or there's an anger management problem. Both are worth keeping your eyes wide open. Good luck.

Honey, just face it, you were being quite b!tchy. Even joking around, you were still trying to tell him what to do and what not to do. Whereas if you just let him be, he would have completed the assignment thinking he was completing an assignment. Instead, with your reaction, he was probably thinking that you didn't trust him at all... Can't say that I blame him for being peeved.

He can't take a joke and wants to start a fight so you can break up and he CAN ask "the pretty girls" for their numbers.
Whatever. Forget him, girl! Better guys are out there who are secure enough to take your joke and laugh about it.

i really dont know what he was thinking. but he is a real b****. (no offense but its true to me) but maybe its because he likes alot of those cute girls and you sounded...to him, that you sounded like you were trying to control him. if you still like him alot, just try to tell him it was a misunderstanding.
