I am afraid to reveal my physical defect to my girlfriend. I figure she will dump me when she realizes i have a deformed hand. I have become so good at hiding it that she hasnt noticed YET. should i tell her and show her now and have her dump me, or just ride out the relationship and wait til she finds out. this is eating me up. advice. please.

I am really good at hiding it, I do everything right handed, only hold her hand on the right side, keep my other hand in my pocket or under tables. I wish she did know and just didnt care, but i really dont think she does.

Are you sure she hasn't noticed? Perhaps she just doesn't care. Perhaps she might have picked up on the fact that it makes YOU feel uncomfortable, so she hasn't mentioned it. It's better to be honest about it. If she really hasn't noticed, she'll likely have questions, and it'll probably be on her mind for a while. But it will pass. A deformed hand isn't who you are. It's only a small part of your physical appearance. There is nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about. Just be truthful to her.

How could she NOT notice a deformed hand?
If you have made it to the girlfriend/boyfriend stage, she has already noticed your hand and doesn't realy care. She just haven't been obvious because she has picked up on your discomfort.
Okay, if really she hasn't noticed, just start casually exposing your hand. Act like it isn't a big deal and it won't be one.

Honestly I think you should tell her and if she is open enough to accept you as you than it's a good feeling. If you hide it from her and she finds out, you wouold have to explain it her why you didn't tell her. I have been in the same situation numerous times, I recently decided that anyone I date will find out I have metal rods in my back and if they can't accept that than they weren't meant for me and someone out there will.
