I was a Christian before, but now I cannot believe anymore. As a Christian, I was told that being an atheist is worst than being a Jew or a Muslim. Do jewish ppl or muslims believe the same things about non believers? Why is it so bad not to believe in something that doesn't make sense?

I don't think that being an atheist is worse than being a Jew, Muslim or anything else. It is simply a belief system. I have rejected the Christian god as being a supernatural thing, as is a ghost. That is what I believe, and for some very sound reasons.
There are others who firmly believe that God exists, and they are Christians. Others believe 100% in Bhudda, etc. That is their belief. Only one of us is right, and we will only find out after we die. I am happy in my own mind about my beliefs, as other people are about theirs. I don't think any one of us is more right than the other.

The most dangerous thing that an atheist believes is that just because they don't believe doesn't make them accountable to
God. They say there are no consequences for not believing. Are you kidding? That's what the consequences are FOR! Unbelievers. All UNBELIEVERS will be thrown into the Lake of Fire, with satan, and all his followers. You have to go somewhere, heaven or hell. It's your call, of course. I hope you choose life. Choose Jesus. He is the ONLY WAY to ETERNAL LIFE. The atheist's way is to ETERNAL DAMNATION, AND PUNISHMENT, because they REJECT JESUS, just like the other false religions reject Jesus. THEY WILL ALSO SUFFER ETERNAL PUNISHMENT IN THE LAKE OF FIRE. Your choice. I know what I choose. It's not easy, but it's worth it. God Bless

Atheism is a belief, the opposite of a theism. Simply put an atheist is without God. What you believe is yours. Belief is not rational.

see how "byHisgrace" beat around the bush so much with that question. the only reason he even answered this question is so that he could preach to you about how you are going to hell. thats why i gave up christianity, because its all based on fear and ignorance, but Im an agnostic, not an atheist. what that guy said is just sad. thats why this country is so intolerant against anyone who is different.

If you once were a christian, then you still are a Christian, God never let you out of his hand, You may not feel saved, but God says who he puts in his hand ,, he will never cast out...
He is faithful ,,,i have a daughter that's like this sorta , she 's saved, but going thru,,well i guess an identity crisis,,The Lord will bring you & HER back around, Or he will deal w/you.
You've heard the expression, "made it to heaven by the skin of their teeth"......God is faithful!!

The scariest thing to a believer is not belief in something else, but lack of belief altogether. That undermines the very concept of faith. You first have to believe in belief before you can have faith in anything specific.
