Skirt and blouse casual. Jeans and nice shirt is more of work clothes. They are asking for you to look nice, but they don't want you to go buy a $200 prom dress.

Not flip flops and shorts, and halter tops for sure. A nice skirt and blouse or a simple dress with flats and stockings would be nice for a school dance. I think thats casual enough.

This is only my opinion.
Casual to me would mean not school clothes or hanging around with friends clothes.
You could dressup a pair of Jeans and a shirt, A skirt and Bloose would work even a shirt and skirt.
A cute simple dress would be alright too.
Whatever you do do wear anything flashy or to fancy!!!!!

Something you would wear on the street every day. Depends on your style, really. Make sure you feel comfortable and make it just a bit more snazzy since its night time. Add some flare to it by doing your makeup really nicely or a little bit darker since you will be in the dark. Something a really cute dressy shirt but dress it down with skinny jeans and flats. You know, something like that. Hope I helped!

exactly, casual means slightly better than average, just wear something you would wear out to dinner.
