Well, they do drink milk when young, but just water for them

The vast majority of cows drink water. A few exceptions include: Wagyu breeds of cattle intended to produce Kobe style beef, a large part of their diet includes beer and sake; racing cattle are almost exclusively fed a diet of duck eggs and Irish beer (normally Guinness).
