Combat Support Associates (CSA) is a joint venture company formed to compete for the Combat Support Service Contract – Kuwait (CSSC-K). Under the auspices of CSA, Ltd. and CSA, the company provides services to U.S. Army troops and Allied Forces at Camps Arifjan, Buehring, Doha, Victory, Virginia, Ali Al Salem and Navistar, located throughout Kuwait.
In July, 1999, the U.S. Army selected CSA as the contractor that would provide the best overall value to the government. The contract is a ten-year effort with a base year and nine option years that run through September, 2009. Please visit our Partners page for information on the joint venture partnership.
CSA brought together an experienced and cost-effective international workforce consisting of over 24 nationalities, all working toward one goal: unlimited excellence. Since 1999, employees at all levels have dedicated themselves to a wide range of assignments, from maintaining tactical equipment such as tanks, to supporting information systems, to conducting force-on-force and live fire exercise and training programs, to providing security, environmental services, rations, uniforms and even barbed wire, as well as organizing recreational programs and special events for soldiers.
The terrorist attacks in the United States on September 11, 2001 significantly expanded the number of ground forces stationed in Kuwait. The dynamics of responding to the immediate increase in equipment, logistics and soldier needs were tests that CSA passed with flying colors. That January and continuing through 2002, equipment from Europe and Qatar was shipped to Kuwait, and CSA employees made all deadlines to prepare it for issue. From November, 2002 to February, 2003, CSA responded flawlessly to soldier service and activity needs; the 3rd Infantry Division proceeded to the Kuwait/Iraqi border with equipment issued by CSA.
On March 19, 2003, U.S. ground military operations against Iraq began. CSA was a tried and tested workforce that had responded to every need of its ARCENT-KU customer and this commitment continued in war. CSA employees braved over 20 sounded alerts as missiles were inbound for Kuwait and U.S. Patriot missiles were fired in response. Whether doing office work, sitting behind a computer, working on a tank in the shops with temperatures in excess of 90 degrees, or working outside in dust storms, CSA employees were characterized by their dedication and determination.
CSA is now entering its seventh year of supporting the largest troop movement since WWII. Preceded by a strong six-year track record, the company is moving ahead with ever-increasing responsibilities, distinguished by its reputation for delivering service that is “unlimited in quality.”

There are several companies working and providing security for many companines in IraQ, Saudi, Kuwait and Afganistan. Most of the call for contractors are in the more dangerous areas. If you are talking about starting your own company, you need to travel there, and start finding clients to provide security for. If you are merely looking for someone to work for overthere, do a search on Monster and at least 2 should show up. Going rate in Iraq is about 80 to 100 thousand a year,

I don't know where CSA does security in Kuwait. I never saw them. Security at Ali Al Salem was handled by Army and Air Force units, including K9 units.
