I wanna design my own tattoo?

Question

I wanna design my own tat, but I'm not to good at drawing and comming up with Ideas. I am looking for a reference to get ideas from and it needs to be a chest tattoo. Pretty alternative like emo/scene type style. I cant find anything on google or photobucket. I got the idea from a picture i saw in an old newspaper about a year ago

i can't imagine designing a tattoo and having it put on my body. i suggest that you make some rough sketches of things and find pictures that you like and don't like that relate to your idea. bring those pictures to a CUSTOM tattoo artist and show them what you brought. show them pictures of stuff that you like and stuff that you don't like so they will know then let them design it for you. it's their job and part of their fee to create a custom tattoo design. most of the tattoos i see that people actually drew the design themselves looks... crappy and i would hate to have a crappy chest piece. check out my husband's chest tattoo. we found different pictures that we liked of different things and our artist came up with what you see which is definitely better than anything we could have drawn ourselves.

You can make a rough sketch then take it to your tattoo artist and work out from there......being able to draw is a part of being a tattoo artist.

Get a tattoo of a broken red and black heart and have like words coming out of it like 4 words that r really important 2 u.
For example mine would be : Love,passion,originality, and music

Your best bet is talk to a tattoo artist. they can design it and draw it up. And they would know what looks good and what would looks bad.
