I've wondered that myself. Why do they come into a religion and spirituality forum if they don't believe in religion or spirituality, solely on science? Why is it so important to them to try to spew their beliefs that they don't have on the subject? It makes no sense. I don't go to any darwinism or evolution sites myself, nor would I go to a forum that is created for people to discuss other religions.
To me, it's a question of respect. I respect your right not to believe, but you should likewise respect our right to believe in God, or a creator.

BTW, it is Darwinism FYI. If I were you, I would check the true meaning of the word ATHEIST in the dictionary, before jumping to conclusions of any kind. There is no reference info ( like holy Bible for Christians ) in Atheism. Also there is no need to collect souls so to speak ( like missionaries in Christianity ), because Atheists don't discuss their souls at all: they only use their brain power. FYI, not all atheists have a problem with God: some simply reject organized religion. There is a huge difference, you know... Some people have a very personal relationship with God, and they don't need anyone else to tell them how to speak to Him. We, as a human race, should learn to respect ourselves enough to let other people make their own choices without judgment ( that would be a Christian thing to do, BTW ).

It is because they are in rebellion against God, and usually moral authority in general, and the idea of being answerable to God is abhorrent to them. And thus they rail against religion, making no distinction between religion and Biblical Christianity, which is it's real enemy, and all the while refusing to admit that they are seeking to supplant one belief system with another. And atheism is indeed a belief system, one that dogmatically asserts God does not exists, which non-existence they cannot prove,
As a result , atheism tends to be like other false religions, and generally fosters societies given to personality cults (N. Korea, etc.) that are like religious cults. Auschwitz, the gulag and the killing fields are examples of what happens when human beings reject Biblical Christianity (Germany and Russia overall did long before Nazism and Communism took hold). And as atheism has no transcendent moral authority, except what they see as "reasonable", thus atheism's legacy - besides a few rock stars and like rebels - is largely men like Stalin Mao, and Pol Pot, who murdered far more than even false theistic religion did over the last 100 years.
Meanwhile no one was ever killed by anyone seeking to defend or expand the Christian faith, if acting consistent with Biblical Christianity, which very clearly disallows such http://peacebyjesus.witnesstoday.org/JESUS.Vs.Muhammad.html - as they preach the truth in love, of Christ who gave Himself for iour sins and rose again!
And as the more souls are controlled from within then the less they need to be controlled from without, the greater influence such faith has on society the more even atheists benefit.
In contrast we can expect another French type revolution if the militant religious atheists get their way. For whom i pray.

When, exactly, has any atheist ever come to you and said "Hey we have all the answers, come and be an atheist?" When was the last time you saw an ad on tv for atheism?
Further, and yet again, you're still making assumptions about all of us based on what you see here. You claim we're negative, and yet you make negative comments about us in every "question" you ask. It's getting tiresome. Not all atheist makes the claims you constantly ascribe to us. So why don't you shove it, already, and go find something to make you happy?

Atheism isn't another religion just to clarify. I am unsure if you were trying to imply it was or your original statement was lumping it in as a belief system.
Very few people claim to understand evolution fully. I just know most atheists understand it better than most creationists.
Atheism is the default belief system. As children we start out as atheists.

Why is it ok for Christians to shove Christianity down our throats? We are just stating what we believe to be more logical, and maybe if you could read that "8th grade science book" things would make a little more since. I find it very sad that most atheists seem to know more about the bible, and biblical history than most Christians. If you are blindly going to put your faith in something, you think you'd educate yourself on it...

Wait a minute here.
If religious people are so happy, why do they bash other religions/nonreligious people.
It goes both ways on every subject out there.
Not all athiest are unhappy and it takes more than just reading an 8th grade science book to undrestand darwinism and evolution.
It plays more than one way, so think before you ask.

It is our duties to God. We have no choice. Its called the Great Commission:
Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Mat 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.

to be an atheist , you do not need to understand evolution or anythng.
in fact you do not need to know anything . atheist is someone who doesnt believe God exist.
most on this website is negative because theres some group of people happily condemning and asking stupid questions , which is like asking people to prove ' 1 + 1 = 2 '
