Put your top down (or take it off) and let the jeep bake in the sun for a day. With all of the airflow and heat, there will be no mold to worry about. If you put everything back on and you smell something funny, then do it all again the next day. Nothing will be harmed inside the jeep.

Like stated before, pull the drain plugs out under the carpet, the water will seep through the body. Depending on the year of your jeep, it may or may not have them in the rear.. I can't remember if 03's have them.

You don't have to worry about rust. Saltwater causes rust, not rainwater...

I just had this problem. Not sure if its the same thing but, my air conditioner was backed up and the water was leaking back into the car. I had about an inch of water on my passenger side from the front to the back. I vaccumed it out everytime i used the air and never let it get to deep. How did the water get in your car?? It takes a second to blow out the air conditioner line. What model is it? Be careful. After vacumming out mine i have a lot of rust on the bottom of the carraige where my floor could eventually cave in.

If it is a wrangler, in addition to pulling the plugs, hang the carpet over a fence or something in direct sunlight to help it dry out faster before you put it back in ...

If it's a Wrangler, lift up the carpet and you will find drain plugs in the floorboard. If it's any other, I can't help you

roll up the windows BEFORE it rains! Get it out of the lake might be a good idea also!
