Which position do you think I should play? I'm 5 ft. and 3 in. I know I'm short. But I'm really passionate about palying and love to play. I'm a pretty good setter. I'm better at passing and digging. Not good at hitting though. Should I train to be a setter? I would love to play in the back but idk. I need some input. Help?

be a defensive specialist (ds) or be a libero those are back row and you get to do a lot of digging i would only be the setter if you are able to run really fast and run long distances very well because you run the most in that position...because you're short and you can't hit defiantely don't play in the front row and i would play back it 's so much fun!!!! you get to dive and roll a lot!!!!!

have fun what ever you choose!!!

I'd say setter, if that's what you enjoy. I say this because, you get to stay on the court the whole time and you get to serve (unlike being a libero). However, if you play a 6-2 with 2 setters, you would have to hit, in which case you may prefer to be a libero.

As for height, it makes it kind of hard. Based on your height I'd say libero, but if you are a good setter, it really doesn't matter about your height (now middle blocker, it would matter, :)

You should be a setter. It's good that you can dig and pass, but if you want to play in the back, you have to be a good hitter. Usually short people play setter, so stick with that.

Defense Specialist or a setter. Sounds like youre good at both. Decide what you like better and show off that skill infront of the coaches! Doesnt matter how short you are. All the short girls are super good at setting and playing defense!!

Both Defence specialist and settter are good positions 4 u. But if u don't like being the first on to recieve the ball on defence go with setting. If u do then definately ds. BTW ur not short I'm 13 and only 5'1'' and I'm a hitter lolz!!!!!!!!

if you love passing and digging and youre good at it, you should be a defensive specialist or a libero which is where you dont hafta serve or hit. you can only play back row and you can sub for whoever, whenever, without them having to stop the game.

as long as you can dump the ball well you can be a setter if not you should be a libero

you could be a libero. all you do is dig. you have ti be aggressive, and always go for the ball. you cant be afraid of the ball. generally short people play that position.
hope this helps
good luck

i think u should play to position you like. if u like digging and passing u should play back row. i like front so my coach sometimes subs me out or puts the libaro in for me.
